Just noticed an update from Jjonez on the challenge smackdown main site that it might go down soon in the future.

If that were to happen considering that the QuakeWorld for Freshies guide is located there and also lots of other interesting bits, are there any moves to maybe back up these to qw.nu website or elsewhere?

If they give the files & database I could host a "archival mirror" of it. Or I could just mirror the site as html.
Or, if they want to keep using the site I could host them I think.

Yeah he wrote it then but warned that in the future it might go down at any stage as their host might pull the plug.
Better to be prepared the wishing afterwards. I dunno if people are too worried.

Jjonez has archived the whole site and of course i do have the guide on my hdd, too. So even if it went down none of the important stuff would be lost.

Goqsane are you just dumb or are your english skills kinda lowish?
What i said is that even if the site went down all of a sudden the contents will not be lost.
I am sure that Jjonez would not mind if the contents were archived for public access somewhere else. Just get in touch with him.
