I need help. Today I asked a friend to set up a Quakeworld Server with KTX for me. He uses Linux and he just did every Step which is written here Quick Step to set up KTX Server
He also uses the KTX server configs.
Everything works fine, and I can connect to the Server, but on the Server I play with Slowmotion. Everything runs half the speed and I get many warnings because I use the Timedemo Bug.

1. Try to compile MVDSV self.
2. Try other version of ktx.
3. Try ktpro.
4. Show CPU usage on ur server.

Dont wanna try Ktpro because iam pretty sure its not KTX Fault. I discoverd the same effect on another Server which runs with Ktpro.
btw its a VMWare Server. It it maybe a problem ? Cs and UT Servers are not a problem with VMWare.

Install vmware tools on guest system and turn on "Time synhronization between the virtual machine and the host operating system".

We solved the problem. VMWare was at Verion 4.5. And we upgraded it to Version 6.0. And now it runs smooth without any problems.
