been trying to find a guide for a while now, but i am unable to find one.. even the one linked on this very forum for the howto brings up nothing useful (http://www.quakeworld.nu/forum/viewtopic.php?id=2786)
so if someone out there that can offer help with a command line for windows, and a co op config, id be in your debt
thx for any help
edit: also is the only port that needs to be open is TCP 26000? or does it need to be UDP aswell?

This is what should work with plain installataion of MVDSV:
sv_progsname spprogs
deathmatch 0
coop 1
map start
Easiest way is to start mvdsv.exe and then type all these into the console.
You need to set up port forwarding for UDP port 27500 (default)
If you want, you can of course put the above in a config and exec that config instead, or even put the execution of the config into some of the configs that get executed automatically (I guess server.cfg)

You do know there's a difference between quake and quakeworld, right? The quake scene is at www.quakeone.com.
