I don´t think its possible to copyright a certain map design. Even if it was it would be near impossible to make it identical.
Personally I would like to see monsoon and phrantic from Q4 ported, they look like alot of fun. carrier has arrived - twitch.tv/carapace_

Tried the Shrine map, the version I tried looked like a beta.
Here is my port of pro-q3tourney4 (I really like some thoughts and ideas on weapon/item placement) how do You think 2 YA and no RA will work ?

q1_q3dm13 - is that really a port of Lost World to QW?!

I've found one yesterday but it was kind of poorly done or unfinished - some of the items were hanging midair, the map in general looked like a completely direct port from Q3 - same size, some places were unreachable by normal jumping though they are in QL, e.t.c. Except from item placement it wasn't really adapted from Q3 to QW or anything. I feel compelled to having this be said; the QuakeWorld scene doesn´t regularly play new maps. When the scene does, it´s generally under some kind of larger project where there is a set goal for the new maps. For example; Map maker makes map a, b, and c for a tournament to test out new competitively viable maps. Another example: New map in the xs4all ffa server rotation to test it´s viability as a happy-go-lucky gibfest map.
Converting maps from Q3 to QW has no real target audience and I have a real hard time seeing them being enjoyed as they might have been in Q3. I´m simply stating this to shed some light on the situation in the name of realism. Don´t get disappointed if they don´t get the appreciation that is equal to the work you have put into this project. carrier has arrived - twitch.tv/carapace_

Just tried the maps on your server.
For some reason the triggers for doors doesn't work at all.
Anyone have a clue why ? They are both triggered by a actually trigger and by shooting at it. ProjectQ1Q3, Frogbot Waypoint and Map Conversion Tutorial @ http://mickkn.mooo.com

You have light entities inside the trigger for the doors.I had a similar issue with tele port trigger close with other entities
