Don't be mean. They were vb's CPMA inspired skins i think.... and oldman did a fix up on em too.
pm.pcx ...orig pmb.pxc ...fix up pmtb.pxc ...fix up shirt/pants version

Do you have the correct palette? And how do they look ingame? I always save my skins in psp, not in ps.

well, i'm not sure. i tried it with the default setting ('exact') and with the windows system palette. both don't seem to be recognized by quake. ezquake win32 gives a test.pcx couldn't load message, ezquake for mac doesn't give a warning and goes straight to the built in base.pcx.
what's psp? if i can get my hands on it i could give it a try.

Sounds like the problem is you aren't using the correct palette; simply drawing an image with indexed color and saving it as .pcx doesn't work. Anyway, load up this palette as the indexed color preset: http://hem.passagen.se/bugsy/qwgfx/files/qpal-ps.zip

I don't know if it'll work with photoshop, but to create the Quake palette in PSP, you need only to load the base.pcx and use it's colors as the palette's base. https://tinyurl.com/qwbrasil - QuakeFiles
