Firstly, sry for my bad english... I'm a froggie frenchie \o/ - You'll find on this thread, my retexturing work for QW. Some of these skins are replacement skins for OriOn debug models. You can find some OriOn's remix here too. - I tried to clean the textures to make them the most faithful to the originals. - This work is hard/length because the old models have enough "polygons" for a good result, the textures are sometimes stretched and many " uvmap" aren't similar (game renderer vs Milkshape 3D renderer). - Often check this post for all updates. Download : Just click on the screenshot for downloading.
Installation : Just put the skins to qw/textures/models (only the brightskins pack must go to qw/skins), and HUD icons to qw/textures/wad.

err.. like.. bestest axe skin i've seen yet! where have you been all this time man? you rock! as a side thing: can you make similar hud ammo icons for the Retexturing Project bmodels skins? i'm reffering to the small icons on the sidebar

I don't like the rivets. They look totally unrealistic. Fire one rocket with that weapon and it will break in pieces. Apart from that the skin looks top-notch!

I don't like the rivets. They look totally unrealistic. Fire one rocket with that weapon and it will break in pieces. Apart from that the skin looks top-notch! agree to 100% same thing goes for the ingame model

Heh, of course my critic is about being faithful. I hope no-one gets that wrong! The texture job done is great, but not faithful.

=) i like the idea of adding new details and ideas to the models i say go all out with that style see how much detail you can (tastefully) stick in there not everyone favours faithful, because IMO remaining faithful often means 'dumbing down' the texture so to speak, because they weren't all that detailed or extravagant to begin with. there is much more than can be done today with a texture. backpack : Download : here. I've adapted/remixed the n3og3n3sis's backpack skin (md3) to the .mdl original model's. I added more details on the texture and i've resized it to 512x512 (proportional texture format is conform to video card format , contrary to the original size textures).

get a pack of g_ and v_ models with other stuff like backpack (like you have) and rocket and grenade mdl's. You have a very good ability for texturing obviously and I would love to use a texture pack from you.
