I have no idea who said and did what. However i always thought of qw.nu as a portal with community driven content and all users basicly on the same level (Open up blogs for everyone! ). Where whoever that wants to, may contribute with material and state their opinion. Much like esreality. The only role of qw.nu crew is to make the site engine run smoothly. Therefore without the facts, i find it hard understand what kind of personal conflicts can come from this.

Esreality on the other hand, uses a hierarchical user-structure where the users with more 'power' can censor the headlines and decide what is shown on the front page and what is not. This is causing a lot more drama and whine. I'm not saying you shouldnt write on esreality, just that it has some problems.

So much about the differences between the sites. It is very good for qw to active people on esreality, as it attracts a lot of attention to qw.

Keep updating your blog and ill keep reading it.

never liked the esreality and this OMG-INTERNET-IS-SERIOUS-BUSINESS approach but im looking forward to see the famous sassa qhlan-diary on esreality (hopefully with the same amount of typos)!

Sassa has injected life into the qw scene the past several months with untiring efforts in trying to get things done. At least he bothers to write articles when very few will. Sassa I hope you reverse your decision as you would be a huge loss and the community cannot afford that.

2willgurht: I've never had a problem writing on esreality. In fact when I started writing regularly there, I was promoted to admin just so that they didnt have to frontpage my articles manually. well I've demoted myself since then, having become inactive there, but it hasnt changed since then (which is good!)

The true reason why sassa quit is because i'm not using the qw.nu user database on QuakeWorld GFX and Goldrush.

This is not a surprise to me, I was always amazed how Sassa can resist so much pressure and still contribute so much to the scene.
Thanks for all your qw contribution, enjoy the summer. I know you are not leaving QW, you'd never do that, so, keep up the good work you do!

People will take over the news writing with better English since I suck at spelling/grammar and they will do it even better.

My decision is final! I might someday return to qw.nu or qwdrama, dunno what it will be called in the future, but good luck and take care!

yea, qwdrama guys must be sleeping. this is hot stuff! A carismatic guy like sassa will be missed (and his own photos also cof cof). Do what you have to do but don't leave us :~)
