He lost 2-1 to LocKtar, and he played so bad (and LocKtar played so good!) that after then really did not have any mental power left for the locust match. That was 2-0. On the flipside, as locust's first LAN, he performed very well, and should be very motivated to attend QHLan. I know that I will be also very motivated!!! Reppie will have a "second chance."

Now is the wind-down phase; I will have photos to upload later, maybe a lot later, because all of my stuff is already packed, including the SD card reader Maybe at the airport when I am really tired.

So, what about my personal impression? This is a blog, after all right? Of course, I got to shoutcast the Final on the main stage, and I thought that was awesome. There will be VOD later (downloadable or at least on-demand streamable version) so I will tell you all about that when I know where it is. Personally, I don't think my voice is very suited to shoutcasting because it is not very emotional, but I am good with someone who is yelling next to me, which the other guy next to me was doing pretty well I think

I've talked to the players, and they are positive about the conduct. Of course, it was
"only" 32 players, so less stuff to worry about then at QHLan. That said, it was very well run. Only at three times, it was possible for some players to see other players screen (just barely), I thought that was a slip up. And the best of two (2) group games were also weird. And the toss-first playoff format was unusual, but for playoffs they did the familiar pick-first format.
