With the Nations Quake Rank tournament running we see quite a few active top notch clans in the Gold Cup and also a few ones that compete with most of them and can snatch a map or two from even the (semi) best teams. It seems that any clan can cause an upset on a map this season. I won't discuss why it's like that at the moment - if it depends on certain clans being out of shape or if the underdogs have really improved their biceps measures.

What annoys me though, with all these exciting games going on, is that many of them goes by unnoticed. This even goes for people in the Quake channels on IRC. You kind of have to scan the QTV page every once in a while to see if there's any action on, join the QTV and ask the question "Is this NQR?" - which it often is and you're surprised that noone has announced the game with the two top notch teams that are about to clash.

My wish would be that clans either use the QWDrama schedule or do a .qw on IRC some time prior to the game, stating who they're facing in NQR at what time. It's not that hard and don't you want people to spectate your game? Isn't that, in combination with the good opponents, what makes it so fun to play in the highest tier?
