is there a shadow in the original one? : ] is the nail blue? hm.. is there no way to perhaps find the guy who did the original texturing? its a hard one, but i think its important that they are the same shape, size and color. Eg, the battery is a little wider, the rocket looks a little fatter and the shell, maybe its the resolution? oh well.. the colors are a bit to saturated, and shouldnt they be joined into a box under the numbers? : ] just comparing. btw, the grenade skin needs more red, i cant see them ingame!
hm, can we extract these textures from the paks? it would still be impossible to tell what is supposed to be on that battery.. are there any other instances of the same battery, but in higher resolution throughout the game? it would be golden to find the guy who made the originals.. : D gonna check that right now
Its Adrian Carmack and Kevin Cloud, is it completely impossible to get a hold of these people?

Translation: 1>is there a shadow in the original one? No there arent shadows on the original images (i think he did that for visibility) 2> is the nail blue? Actually I think Prime has done exactly what the true image depicts, for example look at a healthbox and it has a red light, the battery has a green one. IMHO I think prime's done a great job! Though, i do kinda think the original ibar battery has a white-ish topside with a brown-green body.. ?

Several points : - Shadows are going to disappear. - Only battery has been redone, others ammocount icons are in beta version (and that's why nail is so blueish). - SputnikUtah has right : "it would still be impossible to tell what is supposed to be on that battery.." Though, i do kinda think the original ibar battery has a white-ish topside with a brown-green body.. ? Tbh, i think too dude. Maybe i can make an other version - AquasharK, it's just an old .mdl with the last skin. Try this, it's the last one.

hey PrimeviL, is there a way to get rid of the fire on the player.mdl like you can on the v weapons? I want to because on TF when the hwguy stops firing, it shows the fire for like a second. I think the particle muzzle flashes on ezQuake would look amazing if there was no fire on the player.mdl anyways.

looks pretty nice! though the eyes should be without helmet since the eyes are the only things visible when you have ring!
edit: i always thought the original powerup faces looked pretty darn good. why not try to imitate that, with the eyes + pent at least? perhaps it's too hard. i dunno.

Can't wait to see those hud faces! I do agree that the power-up faces could be a little better, though. It looks like a really simple airbrush job in photoshop in the current state.

It looks like a really simple airbrush job in photoshop in the current state. This does not inherently mean it looks bad. While the blending can be a bit better, the overall look of the powerup faces is quite nice. Apart from the tiny junkie-eyes Help me understand the little that I know.

I just feel they could use a bit more work besides a simple blotch of airbrushing around the eyes. Perhaps more of the skin could be colored properly, and blended a bit better, as you said.

Eh? I never complained about the eyes. I think a few other people mentioned them. I was only talking about the glow effect around the eyes for the powerup faces.
