i just downloaded build 1517 for windows and mac. did clean installs on both machines. windows has all the new eye candy right off, mac looks like old quakeworld, only the menus are different. when you try to select movie mode etc. from the menus it spits out a few pages of "unknown command" to the console. all the files seem to be present.

something seriously problem?

edit: apparently i have 1517 for windows and 1514 for mac. still, both versions come with all the files, but the mac version doesn't appear to use them or even care if you delete them.

edit 2: graphics weirdness cleared up after i put a symlink to the libpng12 dylib in the quake root directory. still want to know about the keyboard bug though

also, after running the game, the keyboard repeat rate and similar settings are all screwed up in OSX and you've gotta go into the system prefs and reset them. just like after using the old fruitz of dojo client. this is an inherited bug that was apparently never fixed
