In the aerowalk demo demo_jump 3:43 Reload does a niceish airgib just before stepping through a teleport. But actually he shoots the rocket AFTER he has teleported, yet the rocket comes from the point where he teleported from. I fucking watched it at 10% speed from third person view and yes: first I heard the teleport sound and then the rocketlauncher sound. AMAZING! SIMPLY STUNNING! HOW CAN IT BE?!
(Ok maybe I'm exaggerating this a bit...this thread is probably wasteland material...)
But hey they are nice demos. You can watch them even if you think this "magic trick" is stupid and irrelevant. Or if you are making a movie you could put this trick in the flick. Cheers...
