Alright, listen up all the quakeworld fans out there. I'm sorry to announce to you guys who's not swedish, that this will be a Swedish duel cup only. Don't you other guys worry, DuelMania will be up and running shortly.
What is SNL?
SNL stands for Swedish National League, and they are alot like E-Sport Association in the USA, but for swedish people only. SNL have a dream that they can one day become as big as the E-Sport association. They support game tournaments with prize money, up to 20.000:-. Some other games they have in SNL is Counter-Strike, WC3, Q4, Q3, Battlefield 2 and so on.
Allright, this is a totally new tournament, with prizes. The tourney will be free of charge, so you have nothing to loose.
This first cup is to see how much interest the swedish quake-scene has. If we get many people signed up, we can do more tournaments, perhaps with bigger prizes, more money etc. Even some day, if they get big enough, there can be a SNL european QW cup.
We will have live commentary with sassabrassa, movies from the week with nicest frag, worst performance, nicest move etc.
Don't think that you can sign up even though you're not from Sweden. To be able to join this tourney, you have to be a swedish citizen. The registration is quite detailed and they will check if you really are an swedish citizen.
We figured that if many good people sign up, we will have commentary on english if the abroad interest for watching the game is high.
