With Quake turning 10 years old this week, the authors of the superb Quakeworld client ezQuake have been working hard to give you all a little bit of a birthday present. After having listened to the feedback provided from the players the new official release of the client will be ready at sunday, which really seems to be the QW day of the week. Among the new features and fixes one can notice a few nifty ones:
* Radar - watch the overall action in the map in Multiview demos and for QTV in future
* Playback of .dem / Quake1 / NetQuake demos
* Advanced camera control for movie making
* Fixed gameclock synchronization on overtime, connection in the middle of the match, match end small desync., and on demo jumps.
These are just a few of a whole bunch of new feature and fixes though so make sure to check them out and keep your eyes open on the download page when sunday is approaching. In the meanwhile you could cheer up the ezQuake developers by saying hi in #ezQuake on Quakenet IRC.
