the guy/girl who shut down the power on 2nd day: that gave me the chance to get a nice refreshing sleep on razors sleeping mattress ;>
flintheart: for beeing a nice seat-neighbour even he was drunk , DJ oetzi FTW
interceptor: your shaft just makes me WOW everytime.was really an experience to see it live on lan :>

I went on a diet, swore off drinking and heavy eating, and in fourteen days I had lost exactly two weeks.

:> how was your trip?
I myself fell asleep(on vleech's bed? not sure who owned that bed but it was nice) during the 2on2-finals, missed everything! :/
I had been sleeping for 4 hours tops every night, so I think I deserved it
Thanks to everyone who showed up to make a great 10th QHlan this year

never argue with an idiot. they'll bring you back to their level and then beat you with experience.

I have to agree with all of this stuff. I met some really nice people at the LAN (none mentioned, none forgotten ) and everyone was very nice and friendly. Even during the power failure people were cheerful and played Sassa's games or poker in the dark etc, or went to bed to get some much needed sleep. It was a blast to watch some of the games live in the specroom, and play with the specroom watching! Was nice to see so many familiar names there and say hello to some of them at least, i hope that next year everyone who was there this time will come again, and those who weren't will make it possible to attend. I think if you changed date it would be easier for more people to come, but maybe it's some kind of tradition to have it a few days after new years eve. The crew did a great job this year and all of them were helpful when you asked them for help etc. A big GG to you guys and that film team (which was a very refreshening and unexpected thing for me at least, hopefully it will draw more people's attention)!

The only small disappointments on this LAN were the tournaments i guess. A 1on1 and 4on4 final at like 5am in the morning isn't the best thing and so on. Also the tournament system could have been better. Instead of that java compo system you should've just setup a site using the same system as Duelmania uses so that all the screenshots and exact results were saved. We saw great games anyway though and it's nice that the winners received something for their efforts.

In summary it was a good LAN and i'm hoping to attend next event too.

well from my pov of connecting the the public qizmo and after 2nd day to cams, it seemed like a great lan. The quality of the gameplay with everyone on 12ms was amazing.

Good to see many connecting to the cams, take the overload of the connection to the public qizmo as a blessing that so many of the community were interested! One thing is a letdown though, and Ake touched on it, the time of the finals. Even in the uk I was up til 5am GMT to watch the 2on2, 1on1 (up to the grand final) and first 2 games of 4on4 finals (got to 1-1 sd vs sr). Now watching the demos of the 1on1 final you can see that both reppie and int are in need of sleep there!

But its made me decide to make the effort and 'do a serox' and come over from uk for next one. And it was good to see the community wake up for a few days lol.

and one thing spoink, my stomach churned when i just read this:

spoink > thank molle for the Alvedon (painkiller)

I agree with all the above, the companionship grows even stronger with each year, and it was very nice to see you all!
Btw, we've not received any feedback/comments on our prestigious color 0 12 sd-outfits!? Plz tell me what you think of it
