*Tip: DON'T use black in your paintings! The color is too hard and way too much. Rather mix your colors to a very dark one if you need to create dark areas in your painting. Nothing around you is totally black you see, it always has a little grey, green, blue, purple or whatever in it. (Ofcourse use black if you're just doing cartoons, or whatever). That only goes for if you want to make realistic works. Which I don't, nor do I wish to. I love to use black. Black is cool. It is screaming and settling so harsh on a painting that you can't go around it. Also it has been a long time ago since I made a painting with paints, I like drawing and fiddling on the square mm better. However, this is a dark painting of mine (Waiting), in what I used no black... But for this one (Grey area) I did use black. Also in this one (BattleFlesh) I did use black. And so on. Also I work a lot with ink. The deepest black ink is the nicest. And not just for cartoons.

@buur: about the black, true.. it's good for realistic stuff. That's what I meant And I was thinking about a landscape you could dream of walking through it, or fly through it... I dunno. I just started painting and eventually made this

I can't choose! I honestly can't say what version I like better. They are both cute, in their own way.

Bottom one is more cute but I like the freakness of the one on top more. His eyes reminds me of eyes of a fly. Top: Creature, works on animal instinct. Bottom: Pet, thinks but stupid. TEAM QUAD [need nothing] shaga loses another friend shaga discovers blast radius QUAD

Nah I don't want to steal the name. I call it Frump. ~~~~~~~~ And just as I was wanting to type here that as far as I know frump is a non-excisting word, only for some ugly (but good tasting) food that I make sometimes, I thought I would have a look in the english dictionary. So I discovered frump does excist. LOL But still suits it I guess. Ah and so I still learn a new thing each day. Frump. Who would have guessed that to be a real word.

A doodle for people who were having a ridiculous discussion about art where one believed his framed curtains being art and the other thought he could hang bits of his car to the wall and call it art too. What lead into one person getting angry and playing on his ehm... stiff leg. So that resulted in a blown up im right and only me and i slap you with a stick pic.

More I haven't done lately. Getting bored with the wacom tablet too. It's time the sun starts shining a bit more so that I can sit outside with a huge piece of paper, sniff the grass and flowers, enjoy the daisies in the too long grass, watch the birds while they do their silly singing and dancing to find the right mate and in the meantime I will enjoy a nice cup of coffee with my left hand and let my right hand start some great drawing. Sounds good to me.

"Als ik je ooit tegen komt denk ik, dat ik je aan stank uit je bek zal herkennen." = +/- ..."When I ever meet you I think that I will recognise you by the rotten smell from your breath." I roflolled completely off my chair when I read that. The gentlemen are being less gentlemen to eachother every hour it seems. Great to follow a 'discussion' like that.

Clock i've made some time ago. I used gel pen worth about 0.66 euro to draw it, and there is still half of ink left in it, lol xD Actually, this thing works and is very accurate

Actually, some both I was thinking about way to use clock mechanism from calendar for 2007, and how to draw thing i've dreamed about one night (i usually dream about things like that - should i go to some kind of doctor?). I come up with idea that monster from my dream will perfectly fit the clock, so here it is.

Yeh cool. Nah don't see a doctor, just draw to get it out of your system. What better therapy there can be? I done clocks many years ago, but I sawed shapes out of wood, paint it and then fitted the clock-works on it. Shame I not have pictures of that anymore. Some were huge, others tiny. The most horrible thing I ever done with a clock was that a man wanted his antique ehm..... staand horloge - standing watch..... big clock standing on the floor reaching up to the ceiling? Anyways, he wanted me to rape that beautiful clock and paint it all over with flowers and birds. Man did I have trouble with that. But boy did I need the money then.

Also Germany has newspapers with weird 'news'. Some woman who went to her doctor to get rid of her migrain and as therapy he bit her in her left breast. (http://www.bild.de/BILD/news/vermischtes/2008/04/14/heilpraktiker/beisst-frau-in-den-busen,geo=4260696.html)
