Here it is, the most cute flowerpower closet ever. All done. And I'm proud of it. (And yes Zalon, it's for sale!! haha) The front with painted top, door and drawer. Also it's painted on both sides, simular to the front door. And please do notice the details in the flower work and also so lovely on the cute round leg. I'm very pleased with the result. It's adorable. Now I will wait till someone falls totally in love with this flowerpower closet and wants to buy it and give it a good home with gentle little strokes and blinking eyelashes daily for being madly in love with it.

Well, it does look like a sellable piece of furniture to me There are probably plenty of weed smoking ppl in Amsterdam who'd like it...

Thank you It's a pleasure to change old things into something nice Although I have to say, I do like old things. For their own character due to the life they lived. But sometimes old things is too boring, too ugly, too unwanted. And then a bit of colours can do wonders.

Nice nice! Is that the nieghbour one can spot between the barrs in the fence? The fence looks like a EURO-pallet so i can understand why you are painting it

Hihihi, you are right! It IS my neighbour there. hahahahaha. I only had eyes for the fence and the roses. hihi. The fence is old. It was here already when moved in this house (5 years ago) and all brownish and bits were now grey and more and more cracks and crumbles came on it due to the sun. And I love that. I love old wood that lives its life and goes its own way. That's the reason why I not painted it all "close". Also, the warm sunny yellow is just more jolly then dark brown. And the roses are... oh well. Maybe a bit too sweet and cute but for me (now) MUCH nicer then dark brown corners where nothing happens.

I would be all over the place if i tryed something delicate as that.what happens if you make a mistake and need to tipp ex it out ?

I don't make mistakes And if by accident my brush goes on a place where it shouldn't have, there can be another flower or so. Dunno, I've always worked with coincidenses or accidental dots and spots and make something out of it. It's all ok, it comes as it comes and that's what I deal with. I guess if it really goes wrong I can just take a big brush and paint it all over again I guess. But it's not my style to go for all perfect and straight. It's a handjob. It's ok if one can see that here or there. Gives it it's own charm.

It's a handjob. You are brave to use word like that in the internet! i avoid it, use "handicraft" instead xD

It's not really finished. Got bored halfway, decided to finish after three months, but concept wasn't interesting anymore for me. It was hore to draw, especially because red paper was too soft. Better for origami than drawing. But i learned that "liquid organic matter" as i named it would look great in form of wings, maybe when i feel like drawing demon or some other creature i'll use it. And as you can see, i pretty much suck at drawing humans
