Thinking that this might be a nice design to fit on the other wall amongst the bubble baths. Of course it's still in b/w, it will look better in colour. I'll think about it.

Oi! I drew a dragon kind of similar to that one a couple years ago - with silver ink! I only took it off the wall a couple months ago. I'll see if I can find it. I want a magazine holder like that! If I can afford one that is. I always need more magazine boxes, I've got piles of magazines and comics lying around. What does moemfels mean?

Hahah, moemfel hmm, it means nothing. I was looking for a non-existing name for the creatures since they keep coming up for years already now. And then it's nicer/better/more handy to have a name for 'm. To point out more easy what I'm talking about.

It's a good name! I assumed it was a Dutch word, but couldn't find it in the dictionary

A candle holder I made last year. I wanted to file it smooth after firing, but my master insisted on keeping it gnarly and bent. Same old black - the brown blotches are spots wth too much glaze. It's got a narrow ramp leading up to two doorways, though now they're blocked by candlewax

A beret I made to match my ridiculous coat. I use this head I made nine years ago to pull it into shape, so I don't have to keep the wet woolly thing on my head for hours and hours. It's a military type thing, like the coat, I thought it needed a badge. So I used the morning star again

Yet another head, this time superglued directly to my wall. Not fired or anything, just a sketch

I like that. Weird heads on the wall. Carry on like that and fill all the wall and create something like that chapel made of bones and skulls.

I could put little led lamps in them, so the eyes'd glow

Naw That would be too much

I've coloured the Moemfels and all what's there, and still I'm not sure. I think it is too boring, too sweet and too much of nothing going on there. Don't think this would fit a wall.

Well, sometimes cute is just what we need

Sometimes, yes. But for that other wall in that shop that I still have to do, I want something more spectacular. Something thrilling, something exciting, something that make people look again with a sort of wtf? feeling. And cute won't do that there.

Since I'm not going with the speed of light like the firemen with my design I can only show a sort of animal that I kneaded out of the gummi putti while thinking what to do and where and how and all that.

Despite of the not "that" many replies, this topic is close to 100.000 views........ Now, I might be wrong of course, but seriously I think that is a record for this forum. Which is absolutely nice. Just a shame I can't see who will be the 100.000 viewer. Would be nice to give away some sort of price.

And hmm, I said not "that" many replies, but 1223 replies might already be a record too!!

Little thingies for on the other bits the try-outs are being liked so much already that I not have to go make "real" ones. Those will do already. Good.

Pots curing in my bathroom, where the heat will dry the water out of them before grinding and firing. The one on the left is a flowerpot, the one on the right will have a lid of some sort. Not great art, but fun and quick to make, and useful. I make a lot of stuff like this, usually early in the morning. Any suggestions on colours? The one on the right will have an inscription of some sort in a narrow band around the outside, in a contrasting colour or the basic unglazed stoneware colour.
