Ok, i have heard about this from many players, and even helped some out by sending them my copy of this file. But yesterday i have experienced it myself, when i copied my qw to my friend's computer. It's working on my computer, but not on his. For those who hasn't heard about this yet: when i try to start fuhquake, it tells me that libpng.dll couldn't be loaded, and i should either download this file from fuhquake.net, or disable png support by adding -nolibpng to the command line. But that goddamn dll is in the fuhquake directory of my friend, and it is the very same goddamn one which i myself am using successfully on my computer.

Any ideas what should i try to get it running?

As i said above, i tried that version of the dll too (it's the same that sassa has linked), but the problem persists.

why copy.. just use equake isntead
