Guys, how do I make my nick appear coloured in the teamchat ?? I've seen TVS guys doing that kind of teamchat

set nick {&c000kloze&r}
&c = color (I guess)
where 000 is the colors (rgb) 000 = black f00 = red ff0 = yellow fff = white
&r = regular (I guess? since it turns the text after this to normal color whatever that is) otherwise your whole message will be colored

Thanks, dude - it works just fine now. But what are the ecryptions for the colours of green. blue, orange, pink and the like ? When you're asking about how to get green and blue, i think you better read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RGB (Green is 0F0 and Blue is 00F) www.facebook.com/QuakeWorld

I just watched some games through QTV I started to wonder whether that specific type of messaging is also enabled in EZQ ? I mean the reports that are made by the game itself, ex. instead of "Akke was gibbed by Kloze's rocket" replaced by "Kloze RL Akke". You know what I mean guys. How do I do it ?

r_tracker_frags 2 is that what you're after?
I love this feature, would like able to get rid of the standard message though.

Well, there are some effects but this annoying "You fragged..." message apears. And then again, old info type like "...was gibbed by..." is there too. Any possibilities to get rid of it ?

"Any possibilities to get rid of it ?"
Yes. Not that I'm any helpl as I don't remember the commands, but yes anyway. The (huge) downside to this, is that it won't be in the same place, as the normal frag messages would be. You can't be sure whether team mate was killed before or after he messaged "took ya" for example

con_fragmessages 0 - to disable the old types of messaging. I still don't know how to dispose of the "You fragged..." text

Quick inquiry: how to make team messages bigger? Just the old 320x200 soft way? Proper reading of teamplay chat in gl may be inconvenient sometimes due to the resolution issue.

That really bugs me: when using enemy powerup variable instead of seeing QUAD in blue I see just a row of signs, namely: &c03Fquad&cfff. The same with PENT and RING. Here's an excerpt of my cfg: //Item Names tp_name_rl "RL" tp_name_lg "LG" tp_name_ga "&c0b0ga&cfff" tp_name_ya "&cff0ya&cfff" tp_name_ra "&ce00ra&cfff" tp_name_armortype_ga "$x0}" tp_name_armortype_ya "$x03" tp_name_armortype_ra "$x05" tp_name_rockets "rox" tp_name_cells "cel" tp_name_quad "&c03Fquad&cfff" tp_name_pent "&ce00pent&cfff" tp_name_ring "&cff0ring&cfff" tp_name_mh "&c03Fmega&cfff" tp_name_health "hth" tp_name_armor "arm" tp_name_weapon "wpn" tp_name_backpack "&cF0Fpack&cfff" tp_name_sentry "sent" tp_name_disp "disp" tp_name_enemy "&ce00enemy&cfff" tp_name_quaded "&c03Fquaded&cfff" tp_name_pented "&ce00pented&cfff" tp_name_rune4 "{rgn}" tp_name_rune3 "{hst}" tp_name_rune2 "{str}" tp_name_rune1 "{res}" tp_name_someplace " " tp_name_at " Ť " tp_name_nothing "--" tp_name_separator "$x20" WTF? How do I repair it?

anyway , cant just ezquake change a way of colored text ? instead of transmit codes just inbuild filter that color incoming words in custom color ? in this way you could manage other ppl binds ( useful for mixes ) and use pure test in binds . Dont mention about compatability with other clients .

How would you remove those messages at the top of the screen? My settings are: - EZQ 2.1 - hud_notify_show 1 - con_fragmessages 0 - scr_newhud 1
