NQR Silver A predictions:
I had a small chatter with the almighty and self-proclaimed king of the QW-scene, Sassa. Well the chatter was just whine from my side for the fact that we haven't seen much predictions about the currently running. The conversation went as follow:

To fullfill my part of the deal, I will now try to predict how the nine clans in NQR Silver A will succeed in the only 4on4 tournament on the progress at the moment.
Core:
You only have to look to their lineup and you notice one name: Persuader. Filled with div1-skill this players activity is vital for a clan Core. Yes they have former Chosen-star Greendog and former OldOnes-keyplayer Creature to backup Persus inevitable onslaught in DM2 and DM3. Spiced up with solid players from already deceaced DQM (Elguapo and Nopee just to mention it) I expect nothing more than playoffs spot from this clan. Very, very hard clan to defeat if they can field Persu,Greendog and Creature at the same time.

My number two favourite in Silver A
This is probably the only clan who can give reasonable challenge to CORE. They don't have one-above-all players like Persuader in CORE but experienced players like Smala,TheEvilDog and ItsForReal in their roster they will be very difficult to defeat in any map. This clans also doesn't suffer the weak-4th-player-syndrome since they have solid teamplayers like mogge,lilld and zaq in their pocket

Apocalypse 2000
Our Swede-English mates are back, with quite familiar line-up consisting of such names as willgurth, adde, bent, torre and tGM. This clan has potential to win matches versus weaker clans in Silver but I see no future for them vs top notch clans like aforementioned CORE and JMK. Sad but true
Little questionmark remains in their new recruitement, Molgrum. Will he be able to give A2k the needed edge versus the other mid-level clans in Silver A for the A2k to redeem their playoff spot?
Aris prediction: Middle (50/50 chance to get in to playoffs)

Writers archenemies from my times with Thangorodrim To be honest, I don't know why CSN has been placed in Silver now that their EQL4 fragmachine and backspine Greendog has left them. They won nice 2-1 victory versus Clan Metally Troopers but when they played versus CORE and JMK, well, it was quite a freezing ride at least in dm3 :< I think their ace in the sleeve versus weaker clans in Silver is their home lair E1M2 (Castle of Hooraytio) where they have always been quite good at. They even put up a quite nice show versus CORE and JMK in it But their main weaknesses are the other Big Three maps, dm3 and dm2 and thus I honestly can't think that they are up for playoff spot :/

Hell Gloom Crew
Billy and his minions are back HGC is a clan that took CORE down in dm3. Yes they did. :E Even if the CORE was playing without Persu it's still quite an accomplishment. What I wondered most still was that they couldn't win them in DM2, which is no doubt Polands national map ;P But into the point. HGC consist of many players who weren't born yesterday in to the world of Quakeworld, Kat,Billy,Caban and Spokz are players with firm routine on 4on4 and to add the fact that these guys have played together for ages I can trust that they will give good fight to anyone in Silver A.

Clan Metally Troopers
Traditional Finnish clan to participate on 4on4 leagues. And I think they have made decent results also but this time it's going to be haaaaaard (yes, with 6 a's). They have players like div1-mega and div0-ripa in their lineup but I honestly think that they will not play a single round (Mega, that was a challenge 
) So the burden of succesion rest on the shoulders of four equally skillful players, Hafog, Itsinen, Mipa<3 and Medar. They are good players but I can't imagine this clan playing in playoffs. Sorry boys, you just aren't up for it.

Dies Ater:
Germanys pride now that SK is loooong gone ;D This team has players like flow (ex-3tk) who is very good 4on4 player in my opinion and a duel specialist uIG and not to forget Cyrax or Soma who fullfil nicely their main lineup. They haven't played any games yet but If I remember correctly, they won Fraggers United in a prac while ago so nobody should underestimate them. I think this clan is very well balanced and they might even be up for playoff spot if they start praccing more and get routine in their teamplay.
Aris prediction: Mid level (Slight chance for playoffs)

NoPasaran!
Russian clan that has been around for 1,5 years or so already. They have made some nice results in 4on4 tourneys even after their stars(or should I say visitors from higher divs? :y) Glad and drkstar left but I think this time they will have little chance. They can win few rounds yes with the skills of Starlam and eXpresso but I think they haven't got what it takes to make it to the playoffs :<

Another polish clan in Silver A. To be honest, I haven't seen much activity from this clan nowadays so I can't write much about them :< Feel free to contact me on irc (#fu@Qnet) if you think i'm wrong and I'll try to find something about them.

Conclusion:
As you can see, there are 2 clans who are above others and 3 clans which I consider non-playoff material. And then there are 3 clans which are capable of getting into the best four Triada remains as a question mark, but I think they will be one playoff candidate if they start playing So we are going to see exciting season with some serious fight for those last 2 playoff spots.
