Why to create new models while originals have a big potential ? ? ? My friend OriOn have start a fun & crazy project : The Quake models debug- OriOn is a french and oooold Qwer who have decided to debugged the original models for making them perfect. Indeed all models are bugged, they're not centered, have size errors, asymmetry, etc... - There no transformation here but only an errors correction, the fanboys will be happy. - Look at the difference for RL in front side view (wireframe) : Last pack update :(download here) - v_axe.mdl - v_shot.mdl - v_shot2.mdl - v_rock.mdl - v_rock2.mdl - v_nail.mdl - v_nail2.mdl - v_light.mdl - g_shot.mdl - g_rock.mdl - g_rock2.mdl - g_nail.mdl - g_nail2.mdl - g_light.mdl - quaddama.mdl - invisibl.mdl - invulner.mdl - armor.mdl - backpack.mdl - grenade.mdl - missile.mdl - spike.mdl - s_spike.mdl - h_player.mdl - gib1.mdl - gib2.mdl - gib3.mdl - eyes.mdl <<< Removed atm- bonus v_models (no_muzzleflash) and eZquake flame0.mdl (no flame when gl_particle_fire 1)

Yes, it will be cool if the devs/match-organisers accept them like a major release. It will be a big step forward for the game !

vive le France!! are v_models affected by f_modified? if so, what's the logic in that?

It's a little bit different in this case 'cose the models are the same that the originals (same file size etc). They're not modified but just corrected (ok i play with words)... How work the f_modified exactly, are there any devs in the room ?

v_models are not affected by f_modified you can make any changes you want to those. btw, nice job

btw, since those models are ready, are the textures updated/done? I really wanted those for the ssg, rl and lg.

:] hehe, for ezquake corrected models same as modified, but adding such models to allowed models not a problem thought (better ask disconnect), however v_ models not checked by f_modified. And list of checked things is http://llamah.se/643 as I got, seen g_ models here.

Nice job on these reworks. I found the shotgun to be the most noticeably improved in-game so far. The barrel appears straighter now, whereas before the skins were bent at the tip of the gun. Nice job.

added all these to fquake base package, and to the package johnny will add to f_modified
so these models will be usable in tournaments as well.

Awesome work so far. I think you both could remake/debug all quake models (player model too!). Quakeworld is almost perfect, its only need better graphics... (sorry for my bad english, im a bit drunk, about 10 beers, 6% each)
