is there any intrests around the duelers? do u wanna play two tornamnets in the same time? ( ownage duelmania )
I dont know if it is possible to start it .. need some programing to the website and some gfx.
But other then that im willing to do a great deal as admin for duelmania

I got root for the duelmania page... I can start a new season anytime I want, but I don't think it's necessary while ownage tourney exists... Imho, no need for "the same" tournaments at the same time :F

as ownage is running mega tournaments atm, i wouldnt mind seeing smaller duelmania tournaments.
Suggestions:

*Let admins seed players into 3 different cups (gold silver bronze).

*run two or three 1-map tournaments in parallel.

*tournament with new custom-map in every round.

well that would take like 2 weeks for one tournament to finish ... i rather see a 3kenya map tournament ... or something like that ... maybe need to talk to the ktk admins about this ..

I would prefer not to run a DuelMania tournament while Ownage is running. Things could easily get mixed up. Also, I don't really see the point. Ownage could easily sport two (or more) tournaments simultaniously, if they had the admin power and the participants to back it up.

I see no reason why we (Ownage and Duelmania admins) couldn't work together. May it be under the name Duelmania, Ownage, or what the heck.. At the moment, we are just happy that the first season is finally over, because it's been an awful lot of work. But who knows what happens during the summer. If you've got any ideas don't hesitate to contact one of us

...and the thing is that too many big tournaments will make them feel as non-special as the numerous NQR/EQL tournaments. Host some kenya tournaments during the summer and make something huge and official after the summer instead i say.

though i personally would like playing these tournaments all the time, i think its the wait that makes people so eager to participate.

if there were like 2 ownage and 2 duelmania a year, i dont think so many would join each tournament and i suppose much inactivity would be around. so 1 or 2 tournaments a year would make the actual tournaments more interesting with more better players in it

I wouldnt mind if we merge ownage and duelmania together. So we would have enough manpower to run tournaments whatever you think of, since ownage was only planed to be a one time replacment for the break duelmania did. If Ownage starts a new season it will be around winter 2007/2008.

I don't think you can call stopping DuelMania indefinitely a break. A break usually implies there's a start and an end. So far there's only a start

Until very recently I thought Ownage would be back in October, but having spoken to anni recently he said "dunno", so...
It's not looking like Ownage will be back any time soon. And it would be a terrible shame (no pun intended ) to have no Ownage or Duelmania this 'season'.

hehe... personally I am not willing to invest time in duelmania/ownage administration. I already got enough other stuff to take care of... and it's really time I start working on misusing explosives 2 again. No progress for 2 months now.

We thought about it and decided to start the next ownage season in January - just like last time. One BIG 1on1 tournament every year is enough

two would be enougher and you wouldnt have to wait so long to play again should you not be div0 who manages to get far in the tournament
