Hello. I've been working on these models for some time now, and I'm planning to do all Health and Ammo-packs. The models use normal-maps that is rendered in the 3D program which btw is Blender. Not so much too say, a picture says more than thousand words (?) :S These screens were taken using Darkplaces engine.. Note that they don't have any diffuse map (texture with colors) what you see is the normal map (like a bump map). The reason that it ain't any diffuse map is because I just can't create any that will look any good, would like them to look something like Moon[Drunk]'s... It would be great to get some feedback if it's constructive, and not too much work :E Credits: Me Moon[Drunk] (QRP) - for the SKINSbmodels 2d images wich these models used as references. Honken - General support Cuky - If he creates diffuse maps for the models, else he will go under general support

look nice, unfortunately no support for bump/normal mapping in ezquake :E

First of all, welcome to the forums! and what a first post! awesome. to bad almost nobody uses darkplaces for quakeworld :/ does the models load in ezquake without the bumpmapping or not at all? :E

Thank for your replys! I know that Darkplaces isen't used for serious Quakeworld-gaming. But yes the models will work in ezQuake they are saved as md3s, and should therefor load, just need to rename (I think) them to something since Darkplaces like the name b_shell0.bsp for example, also thinks that you have to change the texture-path in the md3, but that is not too difficult. I haven't seen any of Cukys texturing yet, but they would also have to be optimized for ezQ since I would want diffuse maps without shadows / highlights on them for Darkplaces because the normal map will do that work. Will see if I can start too work on the nail pack today.. :S

Reminds me of previous models :/ I'd like to see something OUT OF THE BLUE! that doesn't look like anything else otherwise it's a good job

My imagination limits me to do any models that differs from the original, paint a picture of one, and I may do it just for you.. My first priority is too get these 'faithful' models done, because I like faithful..

guran, dont worry about textures. just finish the models since many people can do the textures =).
btw if any of the models are done can you please release them =)

Sounds great Cuky! And yes, I could release the ones that I have done, but Cuky already have taken the texturing job, so it feels kind of wrong to release it so that everyone can texture them, but maybe it's just me. :S If I would release them anyway where can I upload, Rapidshare?

TBH, the Quake community has this "curse" that modelers come, show us very promising screenshots, say it's almost done, then dissappear. This has literally happened countless of times. =(

Ok, I haven't planned to do that.. I have sent everything i've done so far to Cukys mail now, so there you have a backup if the files diden't get corrupt on the way or something. :S

is it just me or just the fact that we both used Moon[Drunk] textures as reference, but the big shell box looks frightenly similar :p if someone is up to the challange, my b_models could also need bump maps won't be high on my own priority since my first goal is to finnish my modelling project...
