I have a problem with my ping using ezQuake. I use the GL version, but have also tried the software version with the same result.
I have tried various servers with both MQWCL, FTE, Fuhquake and ezQuake. On severs where I get ping 13-15 ingame with other clients I get ping 24-25 with ezQuake.. constantly. I have also tried moving my entire fQuake folder to my laptop, and tried running it from there. Same stuff.. ping 24-25 with ezQuake and ping 13-15 with MQWCL. I have also tried connecting my laptop to the cable my PC is using.. same shit.
Any ideas?

Show cl_maxfps on all clients.

MQWCL:
cl_maxfps 0
FPS: 77
Timerefresh: 1066
ezQuake:
cl_maxfps 0
FPS: Well, it shows 600-700.. is there a more accurate way of showing it?
Timerefresh: 1078
Right now I've done it from a laptop, and on the same server there is about 5ms difference between MQWCL and ezQuake.

check your ping with empty cfg
cfg_reset
connect <some server>
rate 100000
press tab

You mean rate 10000, right?

disconnect, it makes no difference. And I use build 1754.
I can't understand it. I have just tried three servers again, and it seems the problem is most severe on only one of them. So I guess ezQuake can not be blamed for that.
On that specfic server my ping ranges from 13-16 with MQWCL, but ping 19-23 with ezQuake. However, it is less severe on the two other servers I tried. If I had a stable ping 13 on one of the others, it was only 1-2 higher with ezQuake. Strange.

cl_physfps 77
cl_maxfps 77 (or 154 or 231 or 308 or so on)
cl_nolerp 0
pushlatency 0
(you might need +set cl_independentphysics 0 to your cmdline if you want to use only 77fps)
