Bass (and and some guitar) for 15 years, Been playing drums off an on during those years as well.
Within a year of buying my first bass i had another bass, one drumset and a guitar (with amps). Could practice with a hole band
Had to get rid of the drumset when i moved, but i still regret selling it instead of store it somewhere.
Got quite hooked on bass, was into Jaco Pastorius (im jaco on the servers ) and jonas helloborg stuff.
I once had 6 basses, now only 4..

Learned to play recorder and violin in public music school.
Moved over to bass-guitar and later to guitar which I still play from time to time.
Even tried to learn the pedal-steel some years ago!
Been writing/recording/playing for over 20 years! Yea I know I'm getting old
