Upgraded my ezquake to 1.8, but my team fortress scoreboard no longer displays.
Using this
fragfile.dat from the old fuhquake.net site in both versions.
ie /fortress/fragfile.dat
In build 1754...
In build 1.8 stable...
I'm pretty sure this is a bug, I can't seem to find any other reason for the change.
oh and i use:
cl_loadFragfile 1
cl_parsefrags 1
(default now anyway)

ok i tried
loadfragfile fragfile.dat
and i noticed it loaded from /ezquake/fragfile.dat
so i put my tf fragfile.dat there and it works fine (missing tk's still).
problem is now i have tf scoreboard items for dm too...
how come fragfile.dat no longer auto-loads from gamedir? And why are tk's gone?

i've just found a way to solve that problem
erase the fragfile.dat from your /quake/ezquake dir and make sure you still have a copy of it on /quake/qw and everything should be fine
this will make ez1.8 lod the fragfile.dat from gamedir

Where you was when there was a beta-testing cycle?
We recive 0 (zero, null) TF-related bug repots. Since i'm playing TF too i found&fix some bugs, but the rest of TF community didnt give us any help to make ezQuake better for TF players.
If you like to see this bug fixed in the next release - report about the bug at the appropriate page (ezquake.sf.net --> click development --> click bug reports)

sorry, havent used 1.8beta so I couldn't report bugs
as I said before, the scoreboard "bug" can be solved just removing the fragfile.dat from /ezquake
maybe you can make ezquake always load fragfile from gamedir instead of giving priority to /ezquake dir
btw, just switched to ez1.8 for tf playing aswell, i'll report any bugs I found

yep ditto...
im actually building a stand-alone tf build, ill put all the details in another post on the team fortress board, but yeah this is of some interest to me... I'll make sure to use beta versions and provide feedback for tf from now on.
