I just figured out how to enable gamma control using -window modes

set vid_hwgammacontrol 2 in the console
tested with 1.8 and it worked !!

I submitted the bug/fix to ezquake's dev site.. but posting it here incase anyone missed it.

Anyway, let's take this thread as an opportunity to discuss if this setting is more hidden then it should be or it should have different default value (2).

make it default to 2

When i play in windowd mode i have to use powerstrip to see anything, can you fix it so its builtin for speccing =)
