To move my mouse I use wrist only. My sensitivity is 5 cm (2 inches) for a 360 degree turn -- that's quite high. On me job I move mouse all the time. I played UT99/Q3/QW for about 4-5 years already. And my aim sucked all the time. My shaft is norm though; the fast aiming -- that's the problem I have (I play horribly in midair mode). I.e. my aim sucks mightily. Why? I don't know. Probably it's a lack in my genes. :-)
What do you use to aim?

I'm currently using a midlow sens atm with ~14cm for 360. Mainly control with my wrist, but for faster movement and reflexshots I do need to move my arm as well which unfortunately means I have to wear a long sleeve shirt all the time because my table is really sticky with skin contact.
Last fall I changed to a lot higher sens to try it out again, was probably like 5-6cm for 360. I did like it quite a bit but my hand was sore all the time for a couple of weeks and that really affected my gaming. Maybe now with a different mouse I might try that again, even though I guess the general concensus is that lowsens is good for 4on4 playing

12'' (~30 cm) for a 360
(My CS sens was 24''/360 before coming to QW)
I've tried higher sensitivities before such as 6'' for a 360 and even 4'' for a 360 but I really think my reflexes and aim are better with a lower sens
I just love the feeling of swiping my mouse accurately with the low sensitivity. I also just bought some gel pads and they are taking some time to get used to. I was really hurting my arm with the edge of the table :<!!!

I use a pretty low sens and have acceleration on, so I can badly measure how much space i need for 360°.
But acceleration is imho THE key to moving the mouse fastly :>

Wrist, but arms and fingers move a bit.
Ideally I'd like an Wingman-style mouse which would allow much more finger and wrist movement.

I just use a piece of paper on the table under my arm.
