Hello friends.
I want present my third work so called
dspdm3
. It is a new map for quakeworld inspired by the perfect construction of ztndm3 but with a style of game different. The map looks good, but i need know that says the players about it.

Was a nice map, but way to big areas, would be a nice ffa / clan arena map!

@Lightning Hunter: Bots doesn't support a map if the support hasn't been made. So even with a map you couldn't play this with them.
Would be cool to have working bots for DM2.

exactly, that's because bots don't push buttoms to open doors etc

There are other Quake bots besides Frogbot. Maybe not for QW but I guess Omicron bot works and I guess that is what Lightning Hunter meant or am I wrong?

If i remember correctly, Frikbot works with QW, and it don't need waypoints. But these bots sucks compared to frogs :/ Bots need advanced AI to perform good without waypoints, and none of q1 bots have it. Not to mention the more advanced ai bot have = it uses more cpu. I wish that qw have bots at least as good as UT1 ones.

Don't just assume people don't know what they are talking about, Shaga... It's really easy to incorporate bot support into a map. I usually try Reaper bots first, and if they don't use the map properly, then I add support for Omicron bots manually. You are looking at the bot freaking master here.
But yeah... I don't play much online, so this map isn't going to be seen by me unless there is an actual download link.
Oh, and Herb, I agree about the UT1 bots. In my opinion, they were the best ever created. If you ever see bots acting stupid in UT, it's because the mapper didn't add good enough support for them. UT bots can literally perform 99.9% of all the actions humans can in each map. Bots are only as stupid as you make them.

Ok, loc file is done.
Here are all the latest locs including the one to this map... just put them in qw/locs and overwrite all locs u allready got, since u might get some updates here. (I do the loc files for ezquake/ktx-server so there's no need to worry
)
