Hi,
I installed EZ Quake a few Days ago and got some Problems. This is my System:
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 @ 2.7 GHZ
4 GB OCZ RAM
XFX 8800 GTX (Driver: ForceWare 163.71)
Samsung SyncMaster 940 BF (Driver: SyncMaster 940BF, SyncMaster Magic CX903B/CX916B (Digital), Date: 18.07.2005) with MagicTune 3.6 Software
Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2
EZ Quake Version 1.8 (1917)
Hope all necessarily Data are specified...
My "GL_Gamma" ist set to "0.5", but it doesn't work! The Screen is dark and stays dark. Also I can't change the GL_Gamma (not brighter and not darker). The same Problem appears with the R_Gamma Command in Quake 3, Call of Duty, Quake 4, etc.! In other Games (for Example Source Engine Games like Half-Life²) the Problem does not exist. Here I can change the Brightness via the Gamma Command or in the Menu...
Somehow, sometimes it works in EZ Quake, etc. - the Screen is bright and I can change the Command - but I don't now why?
I think it's a Driver Problem. Does somebody know the Problem and help me?
