ahh yes there was a shambler that used that, i used it in qrack for some time but it was ment for darkplaces so it dident look right, so qrack supports that,but that is a netquake client
accsually sputnik ur avatar was made by the guy who makes qrack

I did it over because the handle was going into the arm and not the glove. water-gun? idk what you mean, but I hope your actually checking it out in game instead of judging it by one screen shot.

i actually like both version :F i think by 'water-pistol' they mean it's smaller than before. both look cool, the smaller 'pocket- rocket' and the bigger version. but didn't you want to make the RL bigger than the rest? be careful or you will have to make the other weapons really tiny edt: haven't yet checked the newer version in game, so can't comment on the firing position etc. yet...

I see why, but just make the tube a bit longer, the handles can be as they are though

ok, this is probably where I am going to keep it at. its practically the same size as the old w_rock2(which I personally think is just a pinch too big). I might scale it a tiny bit down just so it looks better when it comes to firing. tell me what you guys think. I just want the hands to grab it perfectly, but maybe I'm just getting too ocd about it. as long has hes actually holding it, I guess that's all that matters p.s. this is probably going to be THE last time I modify the w_rock2 and I'll make sure its as good as possible. then move on to w_rock.

hey guys, I just wanted to give you all an update. I've taken some time off and now I'm going to start finishing the rl again. its been clear sailing, except for the standing animation. the second handle is kind of sloppy on the other hand..perhaps I can try thinning out the rl. I figured it would be best if I stop rushing the models and for now I am going to take more time to perfect them. Zalon, it would be an absolute honor to release the entire pack during Quake Expo! I'm pretty excited for doing both the nail guns, because that's when I'll have to make them animate! as for anyone else still paying attention, I have small treat coming up in just a bit. something that will be real easy to do.

Prime's axe! easy as pie! just rename your Prime base.png(make a copy of course) to w_axe_0.png and throw it in your qw/textures/models directory!

sweet! don't stop! about the rl- i don't think you're being too perfectionistic about it because really it has been improving from the first release on, which was very good already. it's good to keep working on these once they're released, if you find time to do even more of the weapons it's even better. every one of these is a 'bonus' already.

alright guys, what you are looking at is THE final size of the rl. its basically a beefier and longer version of the last release. I made it so it fits great in the hands, if I make it any longer the trigger handle will start going into the wrist of the player model and the second handle will look really sloppy on the left hand. its probably near 2 inches or so shorter than the old w_rock2, but its definitely wider around. I repeat, FINAL SIZE!

you know what else is great DEus? Plague's lightning gun! the luma texture is in there as well, but as of right now it doesn't work. hopefully in a newer ezQuake release it will! now try it out! http://gfx.qwdrama.com/details/213/

I guess I'll just leave it as it is. make guns bigger? bigger than what? care to elaborate? the lg is actually bigger than the old lg. the old rl was too big, you have to remember all the vwplayer.mdl frames are still specifically made only for the "universal cannon", so I need to make it a certain size to fit good and not look too sloppy. yes, I know me modifying the rl over and over again is getting annoying for all of you. I just like actually making it look GOOD. I am going to wait to see how many people like the lg before I move on, because its not like this is actually easy to do...there was over 160 objects I had to attach for the lg before I started scaling, positioning, and putting the frames in order. so I found out the original "universal cannon" wrinkles during standing to, not just wobbling. so that will be the final rl! until someone complains.
