For those who are interested in building a 4on4 team or being part of a 4on4 TDM team for upcoming NQR 11 then read on:
If you are a Rookie QW player and need players or indeed you want to join with others then leave your name here and I will keep track of new players and rookie clans. It does not matter if you feel you are not good enough. There are enough experienced players who will help you get up to speed and provide training. Quakeworld Team Death Match (TDM) is the most rewarding aspect of QW and will rope you in and keep you coming back for more. It is not as intense as Dueling 1on1 but can be even more challenging and rewarding.

So Please add the required details below and we will organize all players into clans for the Rookie Division of the upcoming season of the NQR 11

1. Your QW nickname that you use.

4. What IRC channel you use. #qwrookie should be used for all Rookie players.

Ehm, not sure if im rookie enough. Actually im not a rookie at all, but I am very rusty and have never played more then 20 tdm games my life(I was a ctf player). I do however follow qw for years and ofcourse play a game of ffa on quake.xs4all.nl now and then.

Q2/Q3 player with basic QW knowledge, teamplay from demos mostly/movement and weaps from playing a bit. I've been to QH-lan 6 with blixem in 2004, haven't played QW much though back then.

edit: Just noticed signups close today at midnight, hope I'm not too late!

Rookies and rookie teams don't need to worry about the closing of the signups so much. There's an entire week in between closing of the signups and the start of actual gameplay. While this week is obviously quite important to prac and get to know the maps, the main reason there is a week in between is so the NQR team can adjust the tiers and whatnot. The latter obviously doesn't apply to rookie teams since it's clear what div they will be placed in. Thus the rookies, while they SHOULD hurry up, don't need to worry about signing up or joining a clan during this week.

I'm a very busy student and won't be able to play all the time, yet I can make time for it.

I was in irc the other day and my answers got kinda answered thanks tho!!
I'll drop a line if I got more to ask about clans. All I have to say right now is that I'll be able to make time for practising, team practise, etc. how all that works and stuff.. I still need to learn that (tactics, team talk, etc).

So, will there be practise anytime soon? or only when a new season of NQR will be anounced?
And when will players be asigned to their clans?

btw, I'm a bit afraid I'm wayyyy too much of a noob yet. But I wanna have fun with team play/clans.
