Yesterday Martin a.k.a. Und in the qw scene was found dead, he commited suicide, 21 years old. It's a great loss for us who knew him, both as a friend and a quaker. He was very happy when playing quake and always spammed the " " button even if he lose or won. I figured quake was a big hobby for him so i should let you all know. R.I.P Martin.

I only met Martin once, last summer, but I have also had the joy of spending alot of time with him in the quakeworld universe. Although the last period of his life was hard, he was a kind-hearted man in his best days, and shouldn't have to pass on this early. The memories of him will live on. Rest in peace brother. RIP Martin
This brings back some sad memories. In 2002, another fellow quaker passed away: Greyseer - Matthew Barnett. Some may remember him from Challenge-World or Challenge-AU websites. I remember i felt his loss as a CH-WD mate, and now these memories have returned.

My condolences to Martin's family and relatives.
This is part of quake as it is part of life. Quake is us. respect never argue with an idiot. they'll bring you back to their level and then beat you with experience.

Never knew the kid, never played with him... so why do i remember the nick so clearly? Always felt like if you met a fellow Quaker you had an instant relationship. Like having a secret handshake. Once you were in the "club" you were a lifetime member. I'm sure he made his own impact on the qw scene while he was around. He was part of the fabric that makes QW an online living organism (albeit some consider euthanasia a viable alternative at this point). May he R.i.P.

I'm sad to hear this. I never met or spoke to Und, but I'm quite sure I played vs him one or two of the many times AV met Jägarna. GGs and my condolences.
