the new shambler is also standing upright, he should be bent forwards a bit. but that is perhaps animation stuff?

looks really cool! the wallpaper is badass, too. edt: add some fur! (just kidding, i know it's supposed to be low poly and all- still looking hot!)

hey Ruhois, the claws look great! but I think when it comes to the teeth it should be the other way around. the top teeth are longer and the bottom shorter. still great to see something from you! the texture looks great too!

hell ill still use it!!! Which client are you using? From my observation: more complex mdls eat more fps than md3 ones. And how do you play QW with 70 when 77 is minimum to get proper physic? (even with cl_physfps 77 or something like that) About shambie: almost complete and looks great, but give him bigger teeth, and maybe change legs to more bear-like.

the texture is really sweet looking. i think the teeth / snout area needs a tiny bit finetuning. basically the same as with the old claws, they need to be longer and more menacing.

i thinks the shamber hes gots now is vary good, but i did notice that he hast tooken the top teeths oot sence the clawas up date
but when u done with shambler and when u start on other monsters i suggest to modle the kinght next because
1- its a knight 2- its the only monster brave enough to charge at u with only a sowrd 3- ummmm somthing...oh i thinks hes cool

My favourite monster was always fiend... Now it's easy for me to kill it, his jump attacks are easy to dodge, but ten years ago when i played Quake only with keyboard, i hated him the most! Knights dont give fair fight, they are so easy to kill that 3 seconds later you forget that something attacked you...

teh player would be a hard one to model due to it has the most animations 6 axe run 6 gun run and way more!

I think someone should just modify the quake 3 ranger to the quake 1 animations. of course we can make the texture look better to make it stand out from the Q3 model.

but the issue with that can be the fact that we can't see custom 8-bit skins for the old model. like the funny cookie monster skin..unless ezquake is coded so that any standard skin uses the md3 model and custom 8-bit uses the mdl...but I could be thinking too far into this already

And no, we can't just take the ranger model from q3.... It's not free -so we can't distribute it with nQuake.

the quake 3 demo has the ranger md3, wouldn't that technically make the model free?
*edit* found out hes not in demo =O(

No kiddin! this is the BEST looking so far imho! But as stated many times, it's TOO much work for a novice modeler and too much free work for an expert to waste time on

a bit more teeth as requested, actually they where there all the time... but the texture was a bit dark...
