Can you think of any frequently asked questions that could be answered in a faq.txt inside nQuake?
I've included these questions this far:
How do I save my config?
Where is my config located?
I've downloaded models, textures, skins etc. Where do I put them?
Anything else? There should be quite a lot.

What is that ezQuake thing and is nQuake better?
edit: I am serious, many people still cannot distinguish between "engine" and "package that comes with an engine".

I want to include "How do I run the Quake expansion packs with nQuake?", but I don't know the answer to that. Did anyone come to any conclusions regarding that?

I heard more than one person say that even id1 SP is weird in nQuake, so I don't think it's worth including. You would just need the missionpack qwprogs.dat files (apart from the paks of course).

I fixed the weird "laser bug" that people were complaining about.

Then all you need is inside http://shub-hub.com/files/mods_singleplayer/missionpacks.qwprogs.zip
If I recall correctly there is a bit of a mess inside that zip, should not be too hard to figure out what's what though.
Please make sure to emphasize that it's "-hipnotic" and "-rogue", not "-game hipnotic" and "-game rogue". The HUD will not be properly displayed otherwise (unless it never was in QW/ezQuake).

How about, "Can you play people using Vanilla QuakeWorld using exQuake/nQuake?"
Cuz that's the one I'm trying to learn, in preparation for QuakeCon....

You can't play people using Quake though (e.g. winquake.exe).
