I always have had problems with my in-game sounds and mp3s. It's like this: I listen to a mp3 and start QW. For a few seconds the music and QW run at the same time without problems. Then, the music stops for a few second, comes back for a few second and so on. I never gave this problem much attention. I thought I set the Winamp directory wrong or something.

But few days ago I wanted to watch a official match with Teamspeak commentary. And tata! Same problem. The audio commentary stops every few seconds and comes back. In-game sounds are present all the time.

I have an on-board soundcard and an additional Creative SB! Live 5.1 Soundcard. I already disabled the on-board soundcard in my bios in case both cards would have a conflict. Didn't change anything. And btw, the winamp directory is set correct.

Try sys_yieldcpu 0/1, I think that could help.
