Not sure if anyone here can help but i'm having a litle problem with FTE opengl .

System Specs first

Radeon HD 3850 Pro (Lastest omega drivers)
2gb Mem (Dual Channel)
Intel E4400

After spending the last few weeks trying out many clients FTE seems best (sorry ezquake), list of problems belowe

1, Seems very dark even with 0.2 gamma
2, GFX's are all messed up
3, Screen goes all garbled when doing vid_restart or cfg_load opengl.cfg, i have to ALT-TAB to regain menues and then the screen is really dark again

And that was the best working you have come up with? Oh my.. we must have messed up very badly :-)

Hehe, if you have those problems with FTE, and you found that to be the best choise - I would love to see what kinda problems you had with ezQuake

1. Try to set vid_hardwaregamma and gl_contrast to 1.
2. gl_clear 1 or v_viewheight 0.

#2 is fixed in the latest dev binary.
