Ruohis, Did you release the v_axe skin? I tried everything to make the armor's skins work with ezquake. All other skins and md3s are in id1\progs. Armors in qw\textures\models So far I have unskined armors, eyes and axe! https://tinyurl.com/qwbrasil - QuakeFiles

unskinned eyes, hmm... that shouldn't be... the axe is missing texture cordinates so don't be expecting a skin for that one in a short while the armor skin won't work in ez since i don't really know how the ez developers have made their md3 multi skin support, if there is any... for the moment the armor skin works in fte...

So far I have unskined armors, eyes and axe! Yeah, figured out what is wrong with the eyes... just forgot to do one tiny thing will have that in my next beta pack

the armor skin won't work in ez since i don't really know how the ez developers have made their md3 multi skin support, if there is any... for the moment the armor skin works in fte... if you look at the original skin files made for Q3, they contain lines ending with a ',' probably not without reason... your first lines in the skin files are the filenames, are those needed? I'm telling this becoz my engine checks for the ',' at the line ends and doesn't work either with your skins. Probably the same problem occurs with ezquake too.

u had mentioned doing TF models. OIFDSDDSLKDSFJ do it!! after u have done everything else tho! (M)TF is played e-v-e-r-y day. rhousis and plague both did a sentry gun, plague did also dispenser. but it could still use the rail gun, the spanner, hwguy has the assault cannon, SNIPER RIFLE! spy's grapple hook, medics have a bio-axe, the scouts got a mac10 in mtf, MTF has all sorts of models that could be done: spike traps, engineers have a laser drone, soldiers have a proxy grenade, demoman has the air-mirv, also needs a toaster model!! there is a backpack done, but im not sure if that was ported from another game? its nice but its not faithful anyway its quite big, so u could do that as well. thats all i can think of for now, and then theres also new SKINS for each class (based on old or new player model, who knows?) or even......a new player model + skin for each class??? haha im dreamin

hmm, if i remember correctly, the air mirv, spike grenade and flame granade have the same model but different texture... so cant dream up too much different models

hmm, if i remember correctly, the air mirv, spike grenade and flame granade have the same model but different texture... so cant dream up too much different models nah ur a bit confused. air mirv is a ball shaped grenade with 2 rotating helicopter like blades on top, it flies. spike trap is fixed on the ground where it is dropped, its like a few individual spikes projecting out from a center point (which is underground) i think what u are talking about is the gren2 slots for demoman/hwguy/pyro/ they all use the same model, biggren.mdl i think, but the pyro's grenade2 (flame grenade, whatever its called) has a different skin on it. i can get u all the models if u want. nothing against megatf and all the fancy extra stuff it has, but even regular tf is still played (see http://eqt.qwtf.ru/eqt/ for a start). why not start with some regular tf models like sniper rifle, assault gun, sentry gun, engi spanner, spy knife, gren2's (nail, napalm, mirv..) all of those could be used in megatf. the original tf models were designed back in '96 i think and they certainly need a remake (remember those were made by amateurs and not by id). oh, and what about a new flag mdl??! i can dream, can't i ?!

Ah yes, I was tired and didn't think it through, and also it has been a long while since i'we played tf And i already have them on my computer, so no need And... correct me if i'm wrong, but doesn't mega tf use the same base models as regular tf? so if i make models for mega tf you can use that for regular... the flag could even come animated, but then it has to be mdl and only works in gl

i agree with deus, MTF is just TF + extra shit, so just make TF models , then we can use those for mtf as well, and if u want make the extra mtf stuff afterwards
pretty much the only original (recent/good) remakes for tf are the sentry & dispenser, and i guess pipebombs/pines It Takes A Tough Man To Make A Tender Rocketjump

it's too bad the models don't work very good in ezquake, otherwise they could be tested 4 real

have to agree, the majority of people that play quake often (around here anyway) use ezquake so the models dont get any in-game time, only when people are playing with FTE

playing with FTE rocks, although it's very hard since I have not copied my weapon-scripts
