Now, to my topic, Im going to buy a new tftscr. "TO PLAY QUAKE ON, OFC"
But, dont really know what scr that is the "Smoothest" and best to play quake on.

I have 2 scr's I whink of.

So, I want a big scr, but i want a scr that is good to play quake with aswell.
But is 5 MS to much to play on? . Now im playing with an 2 ms screen. synkmaster 9** 19"
(I'm pretty used to crt - 2ms.)

Please help.

What scr should i pick?

EDIT; BTW, one more thing. im not using widescreen. bud the "2th" is a wide. is quake playable with widescreen ?

I wouldn't touch the Acer - havn't seen a review for that model, but Acer reviews tend to be bad and the ones that I have seen and touched (irl friends - sorry don't know models) have are been crap.

If those are your only options, get the SyncMaster - I have a 2493HM and love it!

I can't remember where it is, but there is a big thread somewhere on qw.nu about various tfts.

Widescreen is great - as long as you get a bigger one because you can see more horizontally :-)

Looks good to me on paper, but there are far more knowledgable people on these forums ;-) Best bet is try to have a go on one in your local shop - see what you think (while they prolly won't let you install QW, most places will let you watch part of a film if you ask - choose a fast moving scene with details like panning round a room of people).
