Though dm2 is my best map i would not mind seeying it go (in the next season obv.) for more action oriented maps.
Perhaps something like doomed / lundm1.

isn't the idea of a map pool to actually have maps that play differently. One can argue that cmt4 is good or bad. But it certainly doesnt have the same game dynamics as tb3.
Adding another aerowalk isnt really needed is it?
One of the aspects on dm2 that you cant find on any of the other tb5 is the fact that players can have very equal amount of health, armor, ammo and position. Some might consider this bad, i think it is interesting. By doing some tricks with the MHs, you might be able to get the 200/250 vs 200/100. But this advantage will run out in a minute if you do not attack fast enough. Actually i think dm2 is one of the duel maps that aged pretty good. Compared to some other maps (dm4/ztn)... But if I got to change one thing on dm2, it would be that those bars closed 5 seconds after you move thru teleporter...

I strongly recommend re-checking vdm3v3 since it has gone two revisions to make it really balanced and nice map. Especially the ammo finetuning was great thing.

I am actually quite surprised saying this but the most intresting round I've played so far is on dm2. Also the most intresting round (Medar vs Samon) was played on dm2, was really speccable since it was Attack vs Defense with both knowing where both were most of the time. Wouldn't have anything against Lundm1 in mappool but I wouldn't change it for DM2. As Willgurht said we don't prolly need more maps that are just like those we already have in tb5, and dm2 actually one map that is really different and has really many playstyles and the only non-lg-map for those who doesn't like lg.

I really, really hate DM2. However, I've seen some of the most interesting duels on exactly that map. I'm with Willgurht here, a map pool should offer more than one style of map. If you only take "open" maps like Aerowalk, it will become monotonous. This is not some anti-kenya rant... feel free to replace DM2 with a similar "quake chess" style map but it is about keeping a balanced/mixed map pool which offers something for everyone.

I think dm2 is an interesting map. we cant decide from night to day to remove a map of the tb5 without considering the consequences. imo, the dissavantages of doing so are greater than the advantages. its simply not fair to "ban" that map just because some players can't stand it.
On the other hand, vdm3v3, after the acceptance that aero and ztndm3 gained, is the best custom map out there imo. thx to vio and the kenya tournaments, which helped with the finetuning. never argue with an idiot. they'll bring you back to their level and then beat you with experience.

Keep dm2 or replace it with a similar map, which doesnt make a difference so keep dm2.
Allthough the map would've been better if it wasn't that cs friendly, too many easy camp locations.

dont replace any of the tb5 (or if you have to, leave tb3 untouched). as willgurth already said, its three maps with totally different gameplay and advantages and you need to master them all. dm2 super cs is also a matter of nerves to which im honestly saying i wouldnt stand a chance against a better player - ever.
and besides all the mumbling about switching maps from the already standard map pool is just silly, maybe think about adding some maps to it, or try a league with completely different map pool. i dont like dm6 but im not trying to get it away from tournaments

"isn't the idea of a map pool to actually have maps that play differently." TRUE! its a other map like dm4 and arerowalk and thats why it should be in the mappool forever. i can just repeat willgurht!: have maps that play differently !! Dm2 is often pld as a decider map (bo5 and bo3) and if u watching official matches like griffin vs gamer.. its awesome of coure u cant play dm2 like dm4 or aerowalk thats why some players dont like it, but the mappool need a map like dm2! dm2 is a very tactical map for example u can prepare a kill of an enemy about 2-3mins (for example that thing with the megas but willghurt that way is too easy ). if u do just one mistake u can lose the whole map because of the spawnfrags, dm2 doesnt allow any mistakes. The aim isnt so important on that map, well aim isnt a tactical thing u just need a vewry good prediction of ur opponent ( in which corners will he look for u )

you have two options:
1) leave dm2 and stop whining already.
2) make a colossal mistake and introduce some unknown map into a tournament.
