I have 3 servers running 5 ports on the East and West coast as well as Central. They run FFA on the main port (27500), KTX/QWDM on ports 27501-27503, and CACE/Clan Arena on port 27505. These machines are all running Debian and are either dual Xeon dual cores, or dual quad cores with >2GB RAM. Here are the addresses:

Yes those are working domains/sub-domains. You can reach these servers at *.telefrag.me, and also the following domains:

*.getquake.com
*.getqw.com
*.chlnvln.com
*.topvillyn.com

Which ever is easiest for you to remember All of these servers have been added to QuakeServers.net and are currently sending heartbeats to all of the ID Software masters, GameSpy's masters, Germany's masters, and Polands masters.

I am actually having an issue with them pulling up through the in-game browser. You have to manually update the sources via the .bat file or the .sh file. Any help with that would be greatly appreciated. To my knowledge they all show in XQF, Gamespy 3D/Arcade, and ASE(if that even works anymore)...

PS: The Texas server is on a network that is proactive to DDoS attacks. Too many pings to the server will block you for a few minutes :-/

It appears that the assgard master server is working now and displaying the servers correctly. If you still have problems; executing the update_sources script in the ezquake/sb directory will update correctly (good save johnny5 :>

In any event, get as much use out of it as you can, like a 14 yr old when your were 16.

It seems that the DDoS protection on tx.telefrag.me network also prevents QuakeServers.net from getting the information :/

I just fixed this as of 5 minutes ago... The ppl who setup the server installed openbsd-inetd with SELinux. Everything should be working fine now.

what about of connecting qtv to those server?

Good question Well I was waiting until I released the web page which would be tonight, but I'll get it done. I spent a few minutes setting it up last night. I should be able to finalize it tonight... But here's the skinny on that...

All of the servers currently have QTV Portals running.

Everyone's been sad faced about Nobodys Alternative leaving, so I figured I'd give it a healthy try to make these servers alot better. QLog is kind of a POS so I am coding my own frag statistics script that will calculate and post everyones scoring to the site... For some reason, the modfraglogfile/fraglogfile will generate frag data in -game ffa, and not -game ktx (any clue?), which is a bummer. At the very least there will be frag stats for FFA'ers.

QTV Portals, Frag Statistics, and anything else I can find to make this better... The website is here: http://telefrag.me (It should be done tonight, I'm just waking up :> Suggestions are most definitely welcome.

!phil: I have the QTV executable running locally on each server so it's as direct of a connection as possible. I guess it really doesn't need to be it just made more sense to have the QTV portal running on each server. I was also going to list your servers/qtv's on my site as well...

I'd really like to run a master of my own for all of the popular NA servers that the #american/#na.qw.pickup neighborhood uses... This way they can use that master instead of having a clusterfuck of servers that sometimes are hit or miss especially inside of the server browser...

Maybe I don't understand your high interest in the QTV Portals. But anyways, the portals are all functioning now.

If there is one central qtv portal, you can spectate and find players/servers very easily. i like.

Use only one QTV for all of your servers, really, makes things much simpler for players and yourself. Also:

EDIT: QTV Portals are separate again. If they aren't separate you don't get the demo listings from the others servers, I'm not making remote mounts.

That's a serious commitment but don't be to negative about the servers being empty almost 24/7 it's going to take a while before they are going to be popular, the ping and software is great. They will be more and more active.

Haha yeah I know what you mean... Things have actually been picking up. It was great to see some west siders on the WA server playing. [DP]BLooD_DoG gets 19ms there, and Thump4 was hittin' 26ms. Surely a great feeling when everyone mostly plays East/Mid East... Brought me back to the days when clans had East and West Divisions

Now that I've got the connectivity issues figured out, it's smooth sailing now. I'm hoping once I get settled with my living situation I can host some sort of tourney with prizes to peak the interests.... I just don't have the time yet.

QW re-routing proxy only handles routing right? There's also packet compression which no other program does as well as qizmo. Very important!
