Hi, i have this computer and i dont know why i feel like my computer is slow sometimes,i have an intel quad-core q6600 2.4ghz, 4 gigs of ram, xfx 8800 gt 512 3d card, mouse logitech g9, 19 inches crt monitor compaq presario, my game should be running like a racer car, right?i play with 640x480 resolution, i get 150 hz with it, i have cl_maxfps 0 , sys_yield 0(more cpu power),i have mu 3d card tweaked to high performance, so why is this happening?i feel my mouse kinda slow too,can anyone help me?whats the best settings for a g9?dpi?hz?thank you!!!

If you're using windows vista, and vista detects that the machine is getting a little warm, vista will underclock your cpu in an attempt to reduce temperatures.
power options->advanced->processor power management->minimum processor state.
you may wish to change that setting.

Do you have vid_vsync set to 1 or 0? On my PC vid_vsync 1 gives input lag... but my PC is MUCH worse than yours, so it may not be the case. Also, you may wish to set cl_max fps to some stable high value. You won't notice the difference in fps, and it will give your mouse more fluid movement. Try different process priority settings, on some machines high isn't the best option.
