If you're using EZquake:

To change that color of your shaft (if thats what you want to do, I'm not entire sure) you need to make a picture, 1x1 pixel only (very very small picture) with that 1 pixel being whichever color you want on your shaft. I myself use a black-grey color.

Name the 1x1 pixel picture "bolt2_0.png", which means save it as a .png and not a .jpg

Put that 1x1 pixel picture inside Quake\qw\textures\models

If you haven't mixed with anything before, these folder will probably not even exist. If they don't, just create them. Put the picture in the "models" folder and restart your quake and it should work =) your shaft should have a brand new color!

Also, showed this to some people and it didn't work for them until they made these 2 folder in your ezquake directory instead, so either:

quake\qw\textures\models\bolt2_0.png

or

quake\ezquake\textures\models\bolt2_0.png

enjoy =)
