current options system is very cumbersome, i think it could be made tons more easier
to use if all the options were simply placed throughout the entire screen like in cpma.

It was always hard for me to use menu in ezquake because cursor moves too fast. So I just use console. Is it possible to decrease sens.? Its perfect in cpma btw.

I think the point of CPMA menu is that it all fits on one screen without the need to scroll. ezQuake settings achieve the same when advanced settings are turned off. Your request doesn't make much sense to me. Plus you get most of the other important settings accessible too if you enable advanced settings, CPMA menu does not have such thing.

BTW, this CPMA menu doesn't even contain "the must" Q3 setting - picmip.

i appreciate the fact that the menu is so detailed, but purely from usability standpoint it's very hard to navigate with so many tabs and so many options, i have to always read through the list to find something that i need. what i had in mind was that all the standard game settings like resolution, volume, controls could remain a list, but popular qw specific settings like fakeshaft, force models, fov would simply fit on one screen.

I guess make a new hud will be work for nothing, at first i was a little lost but in few weeks i got used to the commands, witch are most usefull, and the actual menu is very interesting, since you have all whole options with info, u just need waste some time in it at first.
