OK, it's working. But how do I get it fullscreen? -fullscreen doesn't help, video options in menu doesn't work, -widht and height changes the reso but it's still windowed? -dibonly doesn't help.

Anyone?

Is it the X11 client you are using? I don't think you can run that one in fullscreen.
You need to use the svga client, however you can only run that one as root and it might need some tweaking in /etc/vga/libvga.config
and you need to specify the mouse driver on startup eg. ./ezquake.svga -m /dev/input/mice .
