My bro cant play fuhgl in winxp with his ati radeon 9200 it just goes black

try some other drivers. maby newer or older or maby OMEGA drivers or NGO .

use this cmd line
fuhquake-gl.exe -gamma 0.3 -nomtex -maxtmu2
if that dosnt work then take away -gamma 0.3
if that dosnt work then take away -nomtex

this is nothing new you be better off getting an nvidia card

Don't listen to xtife.. i've had several nvidia cards, never ever heard of or saw a problem like that under my 1,5 years of quake.. but do as sk4ver told you to.. test some omegadrivers or something.

ppl get a black screen if the cfg that u load is to "heavy"!
try with some1 else config

Um, phrenic, how does that make sense related to xtife's post? He basicly said that nvidia cards have no problems unlike ati (not that it's true or anything ).

its a fact that ati's drivers have some problems with handeling alot of things in games properly compared to nvidia
