Well... just asking:
if anyone has quake/linux running properly with ati-card, please tell me how?
card i have is Ati prophet9000 128mb, if it helps anything...
after i install drivers with little help of google ( http://www.fedorafaq.org/#radeon ) , only what i get after is this.
[naali@dhcppc0 run]$ ./glsw
X Error of failed request: XF86DGANoDirectVideoMode
Major opcode of failed request: 136 (XFree86-DGA)
Minor opcode of failed request: 2 (XF86DGADirectVideo)
Serial number of failed request: 84
Current serial number in output stream: 85
and cause i havent use linux for long, i really cant figure out what is wrong and what to do?

-nodga will disable DGA and let you run it for now
but ideally you should enable DGA input in your xorg.conf (or XF86Config) in /etc/X11
search for a line like Option "omit xfree86-dga" and comment it out / delete it
