Hello,

Last night one of my harddrives encountered a mechanical failure, so it's stone cold dead now. The bad luck was, that it was the disc where I had my qw install on, so I'm pretty much back to scratch since I didn't have a backup of the data.

So if some of you kind souls can help me, I'd be very happy. Im running a system like this

Windows 7 Ultimate
ATI Radeon X1950 Series (Yea ATI sucks, this will be upgraded at some point)
AMD Athlon 64 X2

what I'm needing at the moment is:
- The basic quake install, it seems like ezQuake is missing pak0 and pak1 etc. is there anywhere to get this?
- A fresh command line for ezQuake GL
- A config file that runs smooth, I'll tweak the keys etc. but I really need a config with fps settings optimized.

Kind regards

www.nQuake.com - Online installer that has everything you need

You don't need command lines for ezQuake any longer, just use the new menu to configure your settings

The nQuake default should run quite smooth

The pak1.pak is included with your original copy of Quake.

I think it might be illegal / bad form for people to post the line you gotta type into google to find directory listings where pak1.pak for Quake is available for download, as I remember looking in the forum and not being able to find it... but it is possible to find somewhere, or maybe ask on IRC.
