Long time Quaker having picked the game up again I've ran into a puzzling issue. After trying several configs and tweaking settings to get things as smooth as possible I appear to be encountering a jump bug much like the restricted bunny on some servers. I'm running the latest version of nQuake (1.9) on Windows XP. While bunnying the jump key will randomly stop working and I will simply strafe to one side or the other with no forward movement. This started happening after making the following changes:
(DeathAddr) mouse sampling rate - 500hz to 1000hz
m_rate 500 to m_rate 1000
Switching back to a CRT from a TFT therefore the following was changed:
refresh rate 75 to 150
cl_physfps 75 to cl_physfps 77
cl_maxfps 300 to cl_maxfps 308
I get this when I simply do a bot 1on1 to the local client. Is there anything in these changes that would be causing the issue? I had no issues with bunnying prior to the mouse rate increase and monitor swap???
TIA
